I have lived in this city for a number of years now and I am very disappointed to see on the news night after night stories about the FBI corruption probe. Folks like Russo, Dimora, Hagan, Jones, (Peter Lawson and Joe), Zack Reed are tearing this city apart with corruption, bad decision making, and poor child like ideas on how to run this city.

I hear about how contract were given by way of sweetheart deals to unqualified contractors, blind autions that were rigged, and jobs given to friends of corrupted city officials. think about all of the people in these county and city jobs that got the job because of who the knew, or who they had a "relationship" with. I am sick an tired of it!

This needs to stop.! All of these jobs given to out of state contractors, to no bid contractors, all of which take forever to complete project, always go over buget, and we the taxpayers end up paying the bills.Meanwhile minority and small business contractors go out of business because of these underhanded, selfish tactics.

The "city Officials" need to grow and take their hands out of the cookie jar. Cleveland could be the beacon of the midwest, but a small group of greedy, small minded, stupid individuals want to play games with my money, Cleveland and its people lose out once again.

I went to Bubba Q's in Avon over the weekend. I would say the food was average and the service was good. I like the idea of the restaurant started by former Browns player Al " Bubba" Baker, and the Browns jerseys on the wall. But the restaurant itself just does not do anything for me.

The lady and I got the "MVP", It is a platter for more than one person. We guessed that we would be taking most of it home and we did. It had brisquet, pulled pork, st louis style ribs, back ribs, chicken and sides. To me, it was just okay. I have had better. The chicken wings we had for appetizers we awesome though, they were a teaser for what we thought was yet to come. Not sure if I would recommend this place, I have had great barbeque in the south and restaurants in Cleveland in the past, but this would not make my top ten list.
